| What a pain in the ass last night was. I had two fire calls within fifteen minutes of each other, and they were at the same place, for the same thing. A transformer (#1 the kind on a telephone pole, not the giant robot) exploded up the street, setting a tree on fire and knocking out power down the road. So there I am, at 9:30 at night, directing traffic, when it blows again. Scared me shitless. So we put the fire out, called the electric company, and left. Not 10 minutes later, the tones (#2 those noises that tell us we have a call) go over the pager (#3 the thingy that let's us listen to the tones. See #2) again. So we go up there, and the tree went up again, the power is still on, the transformer (#1) exploded agin, and there's nothing we can do about it. (Electricity is a pain in the ass) So we go home, all of us wondering when we get to go up for round three. Fun fun fun. | | |
| Well, I went to NYC yesterday. Pretty fun. I saw Hank Azaria walking down the street. I got to see the tree in Rockafeller Center. I went to the Trump Tower and the NBC building. That's about it. Oh. And pigeons. Lots of pigeons. | | |
| Your element is Water. You have a calm aura around you and are in tune with the world around. You observe it but rarely interfere. Because of your shy and timid nature you will not have so many friends in your life. But then again, large crowds aren't your thing anyway. The hobbies you choose are calmer ones, you are no party person that likes to drink and make-out with three or more guys/girls in one night. Reading a book or swimming is more your thing.
